I posted a couple weeks ago about my new friend and my brother in Christ, Jesse. Jesse has CML (Chronic Myelongenous Leukemia) and just found out about 3 weeks ago. I met Jesse last night and in all honesty God made some things quite clear to me:

(1)I need to stop thinking that this life is mine.
(2)God is faithful and in the end will get the Glory!
(3)Life is short whether it's 5 years long or 100 years...that's nothing compared to eternity.
(4)It's okay to ask for people to pray for you.
(5)Al ot of what we think is important isn't, I need to put my focus on Christ and loving others and less on others things.

There's a lot of other things, but I'm still trying to figure out what it means. Basically I am encouraged because I see this guy giving his all back to God and knowing that no matter what happens, God will be glorified. Please keep praying for him....alright back to studying for a midterm....but just wanted to let you know what's going on! i love you friends.
