A bit of a refresher.....

This weekend I went home...again. I went home last weekend, and i rarely go home so twice i two weeks was crazy. I enjoyed it so much though. I spent most of friday at Calvin Crest reconnecting w/ friends and spilling out my heart and feeling understood. It was an amazing feeling to be talking to people and know that they know where i'm coming from, they know my past, they know who i am, and i don't have to explain myself. i love feeling understood. it's been awhile since i felt that genuine feeling....mmm good. it was wonderful to sit in the shade, listen to birds chirping, taking it all in, and enjoying incredible fellowship....but it was difficult to know that i will not be there this summer. nonetheless it was a much needed retreat even if just for the day. and a big surprise i saw annie burdette!! so exciting i hadn't seen here since camp finished last august and after spending all last year hanging out w/ her in bako and then all summer it has been wierd to not have annie around...so i was quite thrilled to see her face. so much fun. saturday i hung out w/ the parents and spent most of the day shopping w/ my mom looking for a black shirt that apparently does not exist. dumb shirt. well i'm back in town today and i have a paper that needs my attention. i'll write more later. i'm tired and a little bit scattered. cool. blessings friends.
