so i've been back in SLO for a week. i have been enjoying readjusting to life here and getting back into the swing of things. i have been hanging out with friends non-stop and it's been incredible. i have had more conversations with people about God in the last week than maybe all past quarter. it's been amazing to see God working not only in my life but in the lives around me. my friend here told me that she noticed i was more joyful.....joyful? that's funny. most people don't see me as joyful, but God is changing me. INCREDIBLE!! i love it. i came back a new person....i am different than when i left 5 weeks ago. i have been down in pismo as much as possible because i love the beach. the ocean is great. i get excited about running by the water. today i went down and met my wonderful friend Belinda. She's a guard down at oceano dunes. i hear her stories each day and i am blessed to know that God puts people like her out there patrolling the beach. she loves God and in that loves people. she came and met me after my run and we conversed. i have good fellowship here. i spent time with good people last night. i met some new guys this weekend and last night had a conversation with a guy whose brother is developmentally delayed. what a blessing it was to talk to him. we talked about faith. we talked about being genuine. thank you Jesus for these people. tomorrow i am learning to surf. i am excited that i get the opportunity to be out in the water. i love this place. i love my fellowhship. i love that if it weren't because of God i wouldn't have any of it. this is all a blessing. thank you Jesus for providing my every need. i love you Lord.
