so in case you were worried about the SPSS not being loaded... i did find a lab on campus that had it. whew. it's the big computer program used in the social sciences to do data analysis... it's way expensive... like thousands of dollars so i use the program on campus. it was a long first week of school... it's also been raining cats and dogs... i'm getting tired of the rain for a couple of reasons. one, i have a cast and it can't get wet so it makes it rather inconvenient to be outside. two, i am on campus all day and with it raining outside it makes it pass rather slowly. three, my car leaks... i now have it covered in a huge tarp (no jokes friends... it's huge!) and a car cover to hold it on. with a broken wrist let me tell you nothing is easy. so that is fun. my classes are going alright...it feels like i've been in school for a long time already, but infact i haven't. i have been doing a lot of homework so far this weekend (my weekend is friday-sunday). i finished my karyotype and i hope that it is right... i have a lot of reading to attend to for the rest of the day. after all, it is raining so i have to stay inside... boo...
on another note... more people are engaged... i guess that's what you do when you're my age. mike and kaitlin, jeremy and sarah, and my RD from whitworth lesley-anne is engaged! wow! i am stoked for all of them, but i am struggling finding joy where i'm at. it's tough be surrounded by all these couples, but Jesus give me joy in being a single woman.
oh one last thing i am reading, "don't waste your life" by John Piper... a good read indeed. pick it up and read it if you've got the chance. i am really enjoying it and it is challenging me a lot. alright i'm out of here for sure. time to do some hw!
love you all...
blessings!
