it's already sunday! man this weekend is flying by... and i have done very little of the hw i have for the weekend... oh well... it will get done. it has been a relaxing couple of days. i went to the doctor on friday to have my wrist looked at and my ears too. i found out that apparently i have bad allergies and that's why i'm always congested in the morning. my wrist though.... i may have broken my scaphoid bone which for those of you who don't know what that is... it is a small bone below your thumb. it's one of the carpal bones. well.. it breaks easily when you fall on an outstretched hand, but it is not easily detected in x-rays and sometimes you can never see it. anyways... if left untreated your going to get arthritis there... which i don't want. so this may mean me getting a cast that immobilizes my thumb for up to 12 weeks. ugh. sometimes they do surgery if the cast isn't effective. not so thrilled about this news. soo we're waiting and being patient and whatever happens happens. on another note.. megan and i watched 'in america' last night and i really liked it. a good movie indeed. i suggest you see it. also... megan and i are living in a condo near campus next year w/ two other girls. i'm pretty excited for that. woo hoo! sooo....today it is absolutely gorgeous outside. sunny, and about 70 degrees. i like this kind of weather... this is more typical for slo. alright...well i may be off to the beach in a bit so here's to you. i miss you all... i am not supposed to drive sooo...feel free to come visit :)

Jesus you are amazing. you shine so brightly whether or not i acknowledge it. thank you for friends who know me and who love me and want me to draw nearer to you. i am lonely, but you know my needs and teach me how to be content in you. thank you for challenging me to not waste my life... you didn't give me life to the full so i would throw it away... i love you lord.
